Tips for Buying a house in Irvine California
Buying a home no matter how many times you have done it can seem confusing and stressful but buying a home the first time may just seem overwhelming. There is a lot of legal jargon, documents and signatures that first time home buyers may not want to tackle the process altogether. But having a dedicated buyers agent on your side can make the entire process a piece of cake.
Don't buy a home without a buyer's agent.
You may think it's silly to have a buyers agent when you can simply buy the house of your choice through the listing agent. But this is one of the biggest mistakes most buyers make. The listing agent works only for the seller, not the buyer. You need someone solely on your side to help negotiate terms and price and keep your information confidential during the transaction.
Buyers agents get paid by the seller of whatever home you purchase, so it costs you nothing to use a buyer's agent. My goal is to find you the right home at the right price. I certainly pursue my buyer clients to consider buy my Listings before they consider any other home on MLS. Your financial situation is kept confidential to gain the maximum leverage on our side as possible.
Being a first time buyer, you will probably need to apply for a loan or at least become pre-approved before searching for Orange County homes. This ensures you are looking for homes in the right price range and can narrow the search down to homes you really love.
