Westpark I and Westpark II
The first Irvine village to sport the Mediterranean architectural style popular with Donald Bren, owner of the Irvine Company, Westpark is home to the Irvine Civic Center and the sports-oriented Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park. The village has many beautiful neighborhood parks and pools, plus miles of walking and biking paseos. There is no master community association in parts of Westpark and the city maintains the vast majority of parks so home owners association dues are some of the most reasonable in the city. Some areas of the Westpark are too close to the freeway.
Located in East Irvine and consisting of many clustered neighborhoods such as the larger “Columbus Grove” (itself with five distinct neighborhoods) all which are reminiscent of the area’s farming heritage. A meandering trail will connect the neighborhoods to swimming pools, clubhouses and open greenbelts. Westpark residents can enjoy biking and walking along Peter’s Canyon Channel as well as many other trails, with convenient neighborhood accesses to a plethora of amenities. Irvine’s city hall, police station and expansive multi-purpose Bill Barber Community Park are found within Westpark.
